It is the policy of the Scout Association to safeguard the welfare of all members by protecting them from physical, sexual and emotional harm.
Responsibilities within the Child Protection Policy
It is the responsibility of all adults in Scouting to ensure that:
The Module 01: Essential Information video, DVD and CD-ROM cover this in more detail; contact your Local Training Manager to borrow a copy.
You should also have a copy of the "Yellow Card" - a
pocket-sized code of good practice for adults in Scouting regarding child
protection procedures.
These are available free from the Scout Information
Centre.
