Finding Content

There are a number of different ways to find content through the site, they can be grouped into two categories though, Navigation and Search.

The site has two distinct lines of navigation; Public & Private. The public area is aimed at potential new joiners and welcomes those new to the movement. It invites them to learn more about what we do, where we are and what we have to offer. This side also allows those new prospects to submit a join request which will be handled by the Local Development Officer.

The second line of navigation is the private area, this can be found under the "Members Area" link in the top menu. It aims to share with current members the latest news, events and information from around the county in as little time as possible. Each area is categorised with the major sections taking pride of place on the members home page and also in the members top menu.

The set of links just below the title of each page is the category structure of how that particular page fits into the site. You can navigate back through the categories to broaden your search or to go back a step.

Every page on the site is indexed to provide a comprehensive search feature, we are working on improving it as currently it is not 100% perfect. It has contain advanced search features such as content type and category specific filtering to help further narrow the results set.
