The replacement of the old Somers Bunkhouse at Paccar Campsite came a lot closer today; a slick operation today saw a temporary trackway laid across the Training Field. Then a crane and three large lorries delivered the new Trailfinders bunkhouse and dropped it onto the foundations that our hardworking Service Crews had completed. Despite the miserable weather, including a hailstorm, the roof is now watertight. Work on completing the interior will continue for the next 10 days, including connecting to electricity, gas, water and drainage.
