GLMW Scouts Camping Challenge

To promote camping in the County

Bronze Award Requirements
Spend one night per calendar month for a total of five different months. Three of these camps should be from the list of thirty challenges listed below.

Silver Award Requirements
Hold the Bronze Award.
Camp for another five nights in different months.  Three different challenges should be undertaken.

Gold Award Requirements
Hold the Silver Award.
Camp for another five nights in different months.  Three further different challenges should be undertaken.

Challenges

1. One camp at 0 degrees centigrade or below;
2. One camp above 500 feet;
3. One camp on an island;
4. One camp outside England;
5. One camp at sea level;
6. One camp at Chalfont Heights;
7. One camp as part of a group of 50 Scouts;
8. One camp in a bivouac;
9. One camp at least 6 feet above ground level;
10. One camp jointly with Cub Scouts;
11. One camp jointly with Explorer Scouts;
12. One camp with another Youth Organisation;
13. One camp with overseas Scouts;
14. One camp to complete an activity badge;
15. One camp at a conservation project;
16. One camp at a District or County event;
17. Camp as part of an Explorer Scout expedition;
18. Camp as part of the Outdoor Challenge;
19. Camp as part of the Outdoor Plus Challenge;
20. Camp as part of an expedition on water;
21. Camp as part of an expedition on cycles;
22. Camp with a new recruit you have brought;
23. Camp as part of an organised Patrol camp;
24. Camp in a forest;
25. Camp as another County/District campsite;
26. Camp as part of a Join-in-Jamboree event;
27. Camp Afloat;
28. Camp on a hillside;
29. Camp in something you have made.
30. Camp in a Cave.
