Roy's Reservation - video

The new Roy’s Reservation site at Paccar Scout Camp has now been open a month - here is a short video showing what it is like.   Feedback from the first groups using the site has been good.

The site known as Roy’s Reservation sleeps up to 32 young people and 6 Leaders in tipis on permanent wooden bases with a dedicated kitchen and dining area – facilities include

  • Four 5.5 metre diameter tipis with linings, each sleeping eight people – with painted decoration – Bear, Eagle, Badger and Bison
  • Two 4.5 metre diameter Leaders tipis each sleeping 2 – 3 people
  • Kitchen in Roy’s Cabin with 6 burner commercial cooker with oven, and electric lighting, fridge/freezer, stainless steel work surfaces & sink
  • All cooking & eating utensils for 38 people
  • Covered dining area with tables & benches
  • The site is close to the Woodland toilets

Roy’s Reservation is brand new and unique. There is not another site like it in the country. The experience for the young people will be exciting and mind expanding;  Leaders can arrive and camp, bringing only food, sleeping bags & sleeping mats / lilos and get on with the weekend.

You can book our on-site activities, Climbing, Abseiling, Crate stacking, Airifle shooting, Archery, High ropes course, and let our instructors lead the activity.

We also have Skittle alley, Rabbit run, Adventure area, Pioneering equipment and much more than you can fit into a single weekend…… you’ll have to book again to enjoy everything about Paccar Chalfont Heights.
