The County Executive Committee has established the Finance sub-committee to advise it on all financial matters appertaining to the County.

  1. To advise the County Treasurer and the County Executive Committee on all matters affecting financial management within the County.
  2. To draw up an annual budget for consideration by the County Executive Committee.
  3. To recommend to the County Executive Committee the amount of any County membership fee.
  4. To assist the County Executive Committee to comply with the rules set out in POR relating to financial matters.
  5. To oversee all County fund raising activities.
  6. To offer advice and support to any County sub-committee having financial responsibilities and to any County personnel concerned for any event, activity or project involving financial responsibility.
  7. To offer advice and support to Districts and Groups on financial management.
  8. To undertake any other work delegated to it by the County Executive Committee.

Brand Guidelines

The Branding Guidelines are a brief set of rules laid down by the Scout Association to provide scouting in the UK with a unified and consist brand message, namely "Everyday Adventure". These guidelines apply to fonts and colours, but the bulk on them address the tone used in text and the correct imagery to use to support it.

Try to communicate a positive tone whenever you are writing about the movement, try to remember the brand values at the heart of scouting:

Revision information

If you are working a page or story that is often edited then you can create manual revisions so that if your edit becomes undone you can easily revert it to. When you revert to a previous revision the current one is overwritten, but is also saved as a revision just in case.

Comment settings

If you wish to disable or enable comments on a specific piece of content, the majority of cases the default option should suffice.
