Module 10A (First Aid Learning) aims to cover the knowledge necessary to enable members of The Scouts to provide basic first aid and ensure safe management of a first aid incident. By the end of the module participants will have had the opportunity to be:

  • provided with simple first aid information which is relevant to their role,
  • helped to build confidence and skills in coping with emergency and first aid situations,
  • equipped with the knowledge needed to manage these emergencies.

This module requires participants to complete an eLearning module before attending the zoom session, the learning will take approximately 2.5 hours to undertake.

This session is operated by Hampshire Scouts, please book through their portal here.  Once you have completed the module with Hampshire Scouts you will need to contact your Local Training Manager to update compass, at which point you can attend a session of module 10B to complete the first aid practical elements.
