Module 25 (Assessing Learning)

Module 25 (Assessing Learning) aims to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to effectively support, validate and assess adults in The Scout Association’s adult training scheme, the adventurous activity permit scheme and nights away permit scheme.

This module covers: learning and development needs of adults, undertaking appropriate assessments and validations, and providing positive and constructive feedback. The module includes role-specific elements for training advisers, activity assessors, and nights away assessors; this module is a mandatory training requirement for these roles.

This module is a part of the training for Training Advisers and Nights Away Advisers only.
