Date: 26th November 2023 Between: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: PACCAR Scout Camp (Chalfont St. Peter)

This one day course combines three modules. You’ll spend the day working with other adults to understand how we can deliver the programme.

Module 12B (Programme Planning) provides section leaders with an opportunity to plan and review a sectional programme including the use of a variety of methods to generate programme ideas. The module will cover how to create an exciting and relevant programme, how to generate programme ideas and how to review a programme to enhance it.

Module 18 (Practical Skills) aims to enable adults to gain and develop practical skills for the benefit of the young people in their Section. The module covers how to train, coach or otherwise help young people and adults develop practical skills. It requires participants to gain at least two new practical skills of their own.

Module 19 (International) aims to provide participants with a global focus appropriate to their section and an appreciation of the international nature of Scouting. The module covers International scouting, the global programme and International opportunities for young people and adults.

Before completing this course you should have completed all of the Getting Started, module 12A and module 5 eLearning modules.
