GLMW County Conference 2019

The 2019 GLMW County Conference was on 19th October this year. It was an opportunity for representatives from every district in the County to get together and share ideas, best practice and plans for the future of the County. With 90 people in roles that included District Commissioners, ADCs, Executive and Appointments committe members, GSLs and many more, there was a wide range of discussion and debate.

There were presentations from invited guest speakers including: Scout Ambassador, Dwayne Fields; Chris Brewster from the Scout Association Digital support team; Oliver Dibbens, the DofE Operating Authority liaison with the Scout Association; and, many of our DCs from the County.

Feedback from the day was very positive with everyone leaving with new information and ideas to share with their districts.
